To gain a complete understanding of organizational business processes along with existing project management maturity, the SQUAD conducted an organizational assessment inclusive of process and documentation reviews and in-person interviews with IT and Executive leadership.
This approach ensured the Project Management team was delivering business value by aligning Strategy and Delivery. The organization did not want a PMP prep training course, rather a custom solution which could be adjusted as the resources and organizational project management commitment matured.
The training program set out to achieve 2 primary objectives;
1) Train Project Managers to utilize industry best practices to improve Project Delivery.
2) Establish a PMOTP, Project Management Office Training Program, which aligned Organizational Strategy and Project Management Delivery.
The organization has a very supportive Leadership Team which helped to make this engagement successful. We built and delivered the Project Management Office Training Program (PMOTP) as requested and the organization was very satisfied with the results.
All Project Managers across the organization trained on a common Project Management Training Program, PMOTP.
Adoption of the PMOTP long-term to ensure consistency as new resources on-boarded.
